Leaving a Legacy

Leaving a legacy to us means that you will be able to contribute to our vital work. Charities are exempt from Inheritance Tax so we benefit from every penny left to us.

Legacies of all sizes are invaluable to us. If you have already made your Will, you can still leave a gift to us by adding a Codicil. This way you can leave a legacy to us whilst ensuring that the other provisions in your Will remain untouched and you won’t need to pay for your Will to be completed re-written.

Recycle

Do you have unwanted mobile phones, printer inkjet or laser cartridges?
Please don’t throw them in the bin! We can send you a Freepost recycling bag and you can send your unwanted items to Recycle4Charity who will send a donation to us for every item they receive.

Give a Car

Do you have a car taking up space in your drive that you don’t use or want any more? Rather than going through the hassle of finding someone to come and take it away, haggling over price and so on, why not donate it to Child Bereavement UK via Giveacar. Every car has a value, whether it’s roadworthy or only good for scrap. Giveacar is a social enterprise that allows you to donate your old car, just as you might donate possessions to a charity shop.

How does a Giveacar donation work?

The process is very simple. When you call or email Giveacar, they will arrange a convenient time to send round a tow truck. Their vehicles are picked up by the largest vehicle manufacturer approved car recycling network in the UK. They will pick up any car, at no cost to you, and either sell it at a salvage auction, or dispose of it through an authorised treatment facility.
