We deliver a number of conferences around the UK annually. The list below is updated regularly, so keep a look out for forthcoming dates, you can also search for other training and events in our training area.

Our experienced facilitators also take part in many conferences and seminars as guest speakers and workshop leaders, and are able to cover a wide range of bereavement issues from supporting parents through sudden and traumatic bereavement, to creative ways of working with bereaved children and young people. Complicated grief masterclass – Now fully booked

Date: 24 and 25 September 2018
Location: London

Child Bereavement UK is delighted to be hosting this two-day masterclass, facilitated by Dr Kathy Shear, Director of the Center for Complicated Grief in New York, and Dr Susan Delaney from the Irish Hospice Foundation. This masterclass aims to provide a foundation for beginning to use complicated grief treatment (CGT) with bereaved adult clients.

National conference: Diversity and inclusion in bereavement support

Date: 15 November 2018
Location: Manchester

The day will be chaired by Child Bereavement UK’s Founder Patron, and author of Grief Works, Julia Samuel MBE.

During the afternoon there will be an expert panel, with representatives from different faith groups, discussing bereavement practices and rituals from their own faith perspective. The audience will be invited to ask questions and share their experiences during this interactive session.
