Director of National Bereavement Services and Projects
Terms: 30 hours per week
Based: Head office, Buckinghamshire or a London office
Salary: £38,000 per annum (pro rata)
Child Bereavement UK (CBUK) supports families and educates professionals both when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, and when a child is facing bereavement. Every year we train around 10,000 professionals, helping them to better understand and meet the needs of grieving families; support 3000 children and adults through our bereavement services; and respond to over 6000 calls to our helpline.
Would you like to bring your clinical expertise, supervision skills and leadership experience to the third sector and contribute to a growing national charity? Are you passionate about supporting bereaved children, parents and families, and the professionals who work with them?
Due to restructuring and growth within the charity’s Bereavement Services, we are looking to expand our senior team by recruiting a talented and highly motivated individual to work alongside the other members of the Bereavement Services and Education senior management team, reporting to the Director of Bereavement Support and Education, to lead on the development, co-ordination and delivery of our national bereavement support services and projects across the UK.
