Bereavement Support Practitioner (Outreach Worker)
Terms: 1 x Full-time or 2 x Part-time, 1 x 37.5 or 2 x 18.75 hours per week
Based: North Glasgow and surrounding areas
Salary: £24,000 per annum 
(£12,000 pro rata)

Child Bereavement UK (CBUK) supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. Every year we train c.10,000 professionals, helping them to better understand and meet the needs of grieving families.

Since 2016 CBUK has been offering bereavement support to children, young people (up to the age of 25) and their families across Glasgow. We are now expanding this service and are seeking to recruit one full-time or two part-time Outreach Workers to support the Glasgow Bereavement Services Team Lead in the development, provision and evaluation of this support in North Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Applicants should have a qualification in education, health, social care, or counselling, as well as experience in supporting bereaved children and young people and be passionate about enhancing support for bereaved families.
