Who we are:

Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland seeks to help ANYONE experiencing bereavement to understand their grief and cope with their loss.  This includes children and young people.

‘When you are ready to talk, we are here to listen’ this is regardless of who, how or when they have died.

What we offer:

Cruse offers bereavement support throughout Scotland.  The range of support we offer is vast:

  • supportive listening through our Support Helpline
  • early days bereavement support
  • face to face bereavement counselling
  • telephone counselling
  • specialised groups

We also have teams of specially trained volunteers who work with children and young people; people with learning disabilities and; those in a prison setting.

Our counsellors are all highly trained to COSCA standards and are unique in that everyone one of them offers their services on a voluntary basis.  We have 10 paid staff and 350 volunteers throughout Scotland.
