Giving your time to us as a volunteer is an enormous help – quite simply volunteers make our organisation work! Below, we’ve listed some current opportunities in our teams.

Volunteering Opportunities

Let’s Rock retro festivals

Fantastically fun event & you will of course be able to enjoy the festival for free. Approx 30 volunteers needed for EACH event so a great opportunity for groups & businesses.

Where: Locations across the UK – Cookham, Shrewsbury, Bristol, Leeds, Norwich, Exeter, Southampton, London & Penn

London Marathon

Soak up the amazing atmosphere and cheer on our runners before helping out at the after party. Approx 40 volunteers needed.

Shakespeare at Stubbings

Outdoor performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in beautiful surroundings. At least 8 volunteers needed per evening.

Where: Stubbings House, Maidenhead, Berkshire
When: Tuesday 20 – Saturday 24 June
Roles: Manning entrances, selling raffle tickets, carpark marshalling, serving refreshments

Bereavement Services

Our telephone support and information service is reinforced by a team of regular volunteers who answer calls from families and professionals. We also have a team of volunteers working in our family support programme. As you will understand all staff amd volunteers working with children requires significant training and CRB checks for which we will provide for free.

Management

If you are a senior manager or have relevant expertise that might help us, and you think you might be able to give regular time as a mentor or adviser to our management team, please let us know.
